I called to schedule the Kitchen fire suppression inspection at this location. I spoke to the manager and they let me know that March 20 was a good day. I arrived as scheduled and inspected/tested the CaptiveAire system. Once complete I let them know that only a CaptiveAire certified technician could complete this inspection and that I would be available in 6 months when it is due again if they would like that. I gave them the report and headed out to my next job.

I arrived to do a Semi-annual fire suppression inspection & testing. This was for a Range Guard kitchen system. I did a quick site survey to make sure that everything looked good. I then started the testing and inspection of the Range Guard system. I removed the fusible links and put new ones in. I wrote the inspection report out and emailed to the customer. I then let the manager on site know that I would call in 6 months to get them back on the schedule as it is the requirement of the Fire Marshal and the codes governing the system.

I completed an annual fire pump inspection and an annual fire sprinkler inspection. The system is in good working order but the tech let them know that in the case of a power outage they might want to consider a backup generator for fire sprinkler protection, as it sits they have no protection when the power goes out.

I received a call from the customer to stop in and do the annual fire extinguisher inspection at their location. I arrived and inspected a single unit fire extinguisher. I did not find any problems. I checked the hose for blockage and looked at the overall health of the fire extinguisher. I then left my card and let the customer know they would need to get that inspected next year in the same month.

Service of the Range Guard system and the Gaylord Water Wash in the kitchen. Inspection and maintenance of the Class K fire extinguisher was done. Replaced the fusible links in the Range Guard system, did a Hydrotest on the class K fire extinguisher and the water wash was tested and inspected.

They only needed to be inspected this round. Everything is tested and the fire suppression system is good for 6 months. The fire extinguishers are good for 12 months or if any of these items are used they will need to be recharged.

This was a semi-annual fire suppression system inspection of the (3) ansul systems. I tested each system, changed out the fusible links and put them back online. All three systems are functioning as they should.

Received a fire sprinkler service call. Upon arrival the compressor was found unplugged and the accelerator was offline. I reset the accelerator and plugged the compressor back in. The dry valve was left in operation. System is functional.
